WHAT IS PRP (TZP)?

Platelet Rich Plasma

It aims to collect the maximum number of healthy platelets from the whole blood taken.
We do the separation process using centrifugal precipitation method and collect it with the help of kit.
While the platelet count in humans is normally 200.000-250.000µl, it is aimed to be 1.000.000µl after the procedure.

PRP is an autologous blood product containing concentrated platelets.
Stem cell / not Stemcell.

Use of Activator CaCl2

According to the given amount, PRP should be mixed with the activator in certain proportions.
(For every 1cc of rich plasma, 0.5cc of 10% CaCl2 should be added.)
Platelets should be activated just before injection. Fibrinization begins within 10 minutes after CaCl2 is added to PRP.

There are three main reasons for the use of CaCl2:
1. Thrombin is needed to activate the growth factors in the platelets that we decompose. Thrombin support is provided by CaCl2, which is required or needed in regions where thrombin may be insufficient. This is especially important in the intra-articular regions.

2. The combination of CaCl2 and PRP creates Fibrin glue. With this gelling that occurs after the injection, PRP is provided to act for a longer time on the damaged tissue.

3. CaCl2 eliminates the burning sensation in patients by neutralizing sodium citrate. It also destroys the anticoagulation effect of citrate.

By-Products That Can Be Generated After Decomposition

PPP (Platelet Poor Plasma)
It is used for hemostasis.

PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin)
It is used to heal tissues and stop bleeding.
